Went out with the Wednesday crew and stayed off the draft to let Jaffe, Vin and Marc get a good workout. Pace going out to Portola was over 21 mph. I jumped to the front on the last stretch to keep the pace up on the incline.
After Vin got to the top, the three guys took off and I hung back to play chase. The guys were keeping a good pace, so it took a while to catch up to them. Shortly after doing so, Jaffe gets a flat. Of course, brown guy services stayed back and helped him back on the road again, but Vin and Marc were gone. Seon had caught up here and we rode together after.
The wind on the way back was ridiculous. It took standing up to keep the pace up over 20-21. Jaffe and Seon took a turn up front to help, but the wind was too tough. Seon eventually dropped off, and Jaffe stayed with me the rest of the route. I was worried Jaffe was going to drop going up Jamboree, but he kept right on it even when we tore up Bison. Good job!
