Good Ride today.
Gary, Seon, Hiroshi, Mike Z, Adrian, Todd, Jaffe, Eddie, and Marc.
Highlights:
Seon and Mike Z laid it all out coming up NPC towards San J and kept with the pack.
Jaffe took off up NPC from PCH and gapped the group. Gary and Hiroshi went to chase him down. Hiroshi dropped ~3/4 ways up the climb. Gary caught Jaffe at the ~3/4 mark, but Jaffe turned it up and gapped Gary again. Jaffe sealed the deal and claimed NPC. Gary told me at the bottom that he didn’t think Jaffe could hold the pace, ouch! , Jaffe 1 Gary 0!!!
Heading up summit, Gary and Hiroshi took off and rolled by Jaffe. Gary really turned it up and created a big gap. Hiroshi almost caught up to Gary, but he had too much of a lead. Jaffe came out of nowhere and passed Hiroshi and almost caught Gary at the end. Gary got the last laugh. Gary 1 Jaffe 1.
Oh yeah, Todd and Adrian were off in the front blah blah blah….
